From 14 September until 16 September 2018 the JetPower event took place for the first time on the grounds of the “Motorflugsportgruppe Donauwörth-Genderkingen e.V.”.
Since models with a pulse jet engine were not approved by the organiser, Hans Litjen’s Scout – usually euqipped with a pulse jet – was powered by turbine. The Scout is, of course, a self-made and the drive consists of a modified Jetcat P180rx with 20kg thrust. With this turbine, the Scout reaches a maximum speed of between 630-700km/h.
